Since we are at Camp Dogwood, we have a special rate. We are renting the whole camp so we will offer an All-in-one package. If you do NOT preregister, you will pay $130. This is all room charges, food, banquet, and registration. Yes, you heard right, the whole ball of wax! If you preregister, you pay only $125.
Sharon Weddington will make all room and bed assignments. She can reserve your room and bed placements. If you have questions or wish to reserve a room or a bed,, you may reach her at (704) 660-3481. Sharon will assign all rooms and beds, so be nice to her!
The Theme for our Convention is "Down Home and Having Fun! "
We will have our usual Vender Hall on Friday, September 7, from 6 PM to 10 PM.
Our National Rep will do some special sessions at the camp Friday. Everyone is URGED to either come to the camp Thursday night or to be at the camp by 8 AM on Friday morning. This is our way of "cramming" more and more into a jam-packed schedule!
Boyce Locklear , our State Treasurer, will hold his Annual Chapter Admin Session Friday night. All Chapters are URGED to send a rep to this meeting.
There will be a great Hospitality setup for the Convention. All the meals are provided, but there will also be a Hospitality Room.
On Saturday, beginning at 9:00 AM and running to around 5:00 PM we will hear reports and other important information.
During the lunch hours on Saturday, there will be a special session. It will be hosted by our convention sponsor. Be watching for more details.
There will be sessions for Parent's and Students. Be watching for more details.
On Saturday night, the NFB of NC will hear a rousing speech from our National Rep. We will award the Robert & Hazel Staley Scholarship.
There will be entertainment events, both Friday and Saturday nights. Stay tuned for future details.
